can the old philips dvdrom read cdr.....if can , can anyone here suggest wat kind of cdr brands will it read

I just tried mine with a cdr audio disc. Worked no problem. The brand name on the disk was Octron or something.

some can, most cant, if yours can consider yourself lucky

Mine can read, Office Depot CD-R's.

Its a philips. And my xbox is brand new.. I bought it the past week.
