help my xbox wont boot just keeps restarting i need to edit my menu.ini file can i connect it to pc and edit it from there

or will the xbox drive be messed up if i try it or is there another way of editing it without ftp


please help

Dont know of any way to edit the hard drive of your XBOX without having Evox loaded and connecting via FTP.

If your XBOX keeps rebooting, it would be impossible to connect anything to it anyhow... it would have to be on to communicate.

Do you have a Matrix? Did it come loose?

If not, I suggest trying to boot from an EvolutionX CD and then if your hard drive is messed up, you can restore it via FTP through the EvolutionX that is loaded from CD (bypassing the potential hard drive problem)

You can use an evo-x boot disk with xpad on it.

This will allow you to edit the evox ini without having to ftp.

What do you mean when you are saying it reboots?

Are you getting a flashing red/green? Can you boot from a CD-R/W etc?
