A lot of people are having a similar problem with hdunlock, so heres info on what you need to do. You need to go into your PC's bios and change the autodetect setting for the channel that the drive you want to lock or unlock is on. If the drive is on the primary slave channel, that is the only one you'll have to change. Set it to "none", restart the computer with the hdunlock boot disk you made earlier, and you should be able to lock or unlock your disk as needed.

man, i spent several hours trying to figure out why it wasn't unlocking!
