Since one month ago, my xbox gives me this error.(I have an Exploited mod).
I found a solution not very good to solve it, i must disconnect the DVD drive from the motherboard the data and power cable, and then it's go well another time!
There is Anyone that how to solve my problem definetly?
I'm sad because this time I do this operation(disconnet the drive...) and it doesn't go please help me!!!!!!!!

error 12 involves the DVD drive, ususally IT MEANS UR drive is unplugged, if thats not the case check ur files u put on during the softmod and make sure that the files are ok, then see if ur drive connector cord is bad (maybe) or dusty at the connection point, blow it off and try it (its so simple, but its possible)

The file I think that are ok because the Xbox Sometimes goes and sometimes not.
The problem before one month ago Doesn't exist for me!

sounds like your ide cable or slot is giving out. try cleaning the cord and slots.
