I just got a xbox(brand new mfg date 5-8-2004) and I've read through many tutorials and faqs and still have a few questions. I ordered a x2.3 lite chip and have already downloaded slayers auto installer 2.5. When I get my chip installed and I'm planning on installing evo-x using slayers auto installer. What bios in slayer's should I use to flash my x2.3b? 1MB, 256k, I don't know. Please help!

The Executer 2.3 lite has 2 banks, and they each hold 512k or you can flash the chip with a 1meg BIOS but I wouldn't reccommend that since you wouldn't have a bank to use as a back up in case of a bad flash.

So it isn't recommended to use any of the bios with Slayer's? Those bios are either 1MB or 256kb. Is it even necessary to flash the chip if I'm using the retail HD?
