Just an Idea, have you ever played ps1 Pong? In that game their is a soccer mode where you have two layers of controllable 'guys' a forward and a keeper... Would that be possible?

Cool. I made an almost working ver. of pong myself, but the ball in that always bounces diagonally, unlike the original version, where it sort of goes in the direction of the part you hit it from.

I have the issue too. Although I think I have a way of fixing it. It's what I'm calling the 'HitZone'

I got to get a windows version of pong so I can see the deflections. I'm just guessing at the moment.
