Okay I just scored an awesome deal on a Panasonic 3DO FZ-1 and then an even more awesome deal on a second one.

I've got about 20 games or so though, I'll looking to find more 3DO owners out there so we could swap games and such, so many good games that never got played really.

Got an FZ-1 here as well (bulky mutha...)...not too many games tho, but good to know it's easy to back up the games (glad it was a cdr I broke a while back and not one of the original cds for The Daedalus Encounter).

I have a samsung box, as it had a better game package at the time (the samsung controller kinda blows though).

Star Control II is probably my all-time favorite game on any console. so many hours spent on that game. Plus cannon fodder, return fire, a great super street fighter II turbo port, the best samurai shodown 1 port, space hulk, the ad&d games (similar to, but better than, morrowind), gex, road rash 3d, need for speed, FIFA soccer, etc, etc.

great system, that deserves much more credit than it usually gets.
If it had a normal price at release (ie, not $700) i think it might have done pretty well.

I'll sell my xbox before i sell the 3D0, and if it breaks, i'll find another one.

Road Rash kicked your mama's ass back in the day...the crap that came out in the last few years (ex., Road Rash Jailbreak) doesn't compare. Syndicate also kicks ass (I loved playing Syndicate Wars on PS1...I can't find my copy of this and I can't find any place that sells this).

POed was always my fav.

I rented a 3DO once with a friend, we had a blast with it. Samurai Shodown and Madden ('96 I think).

From what I gather, though, it's more or less NeoGeo Lite.

I have Gex and I think need for speed off the list. Let me find them, you can have need for speed if you pay shipping, but you ain't touching gex. I would only trade that for something good, I LOVED THAT GAME.
