I've been waiting ever since the first few pics started popping up over at xboxdash.net and now that blackstormx.com is up I'm even more anxious.
Of coarse it doesn't looks as pretty as some of the skins set for tHc and tHc lite but that's because it hasn't been skinned yet. Just wait till me and a couple other jihads get their hands on it.

isn't thc about fully dead by now? gcue is always gone, jbone is now avalaunch, bobmcgee is on blackstorm, fuckdb is never really around, etc etc
i am. i hope x-scene adds a forum for it sometime soon. i know theres one on the blackstormx site but i think it would get more traffic here.
Yup, they all went in different directions. Cant wait to see Avalaunch evolve now that Jbone is with them.

Me thinks THC is dead, they say they are "hibernating" but what does that mean? I think it means with them core members gone THC is fucked lol. I hope THC have somthing up there sleves to come back and bite blackstormX. Man, loads of dashboards out. I think Evox still wins them all in terms of stability.

I'm waiting for it, as I've been using tHc for quite some time now. All the other dashboards just don't look even close to that of tHc, and I don't mind pressing 3 buttons to get into Avalaunch for FTP/File Manager/etc. If BlackstormX can win the eye-candy contest, I'll switch over; if not, I'll stick with tHc (probably until NexGen is further along or Avalaunch has a better looking interface).

UnleashX's default skin looks like shit. You musn't have used the msdash for AGES. they're on totally, massivly, different levels.
Speeking as someone who talks to tHc people regularly on #xboxdash, tHc isn't dead.
Basically - they're making a new xbe for the msdash which will take months, maybe even over a year to complete.
In the mean time Jbone is working on avalaunch to gain a better understanding of ftp and making a 3d UI.
Gcue is working on the xbe as I type.
Discworld got pissed off with the site ages ago and decided to stop working on it while there was no activity.
fuckdb is having personal problems but never was a key part of the team, so he wont effect the dash's release schedule much.
tHc just decided it wouldnt be worth maintaining a website and fanbase over a year long period of silence. when they come back they'll be the biggest dashboard on the scene - until then, all will be quiet

WTF are you talking about? It's either hacking the MSDash or create a new dash (xbe). You can't create a new xbe for the existing msdash.
Will take months, even over a year? Sure, that's a welcome addition. Just in time for Xbox 2, when all of these will be an obsolete, possibly incompatible piece of software for the new console. Is anyone playing PSOne still?

Absolutely right. And can you even imagine how far advanced the best dashes like UnleashX and Avalaunch will be by then? This is redundant.
