i saw some one that metioned gotmods.com and i went to check it out after some reading i foud this http://www.gotmod.com/index.php?action=tut...ials&view=00015 and i was wondering if its possible since they dont say if you have to disable or not the mod ( i thought that you had to disable it )..

You do not want to connect to Xbox Live with the Mod chip on.

The tutorial is saying how to fix your connection so you can connect to Live. You have to turn off your mod before going Live. It will not work if you are already banned.

The part that really confused me was the last line. "or boot disk". Thats what lead me to believe it maybe an old tutorial
When your dealing with somthing as sensitive as Xbox live the tutorials need to be a precise as possible. Any one that been involved with the scene for any length of time would know better. But theres always that chance somone will follow it to a tee. It does not mention anywhere about shutting off the mod chip.
It's very confusing but the are only tell you that you have to desable the static IP, Because other way you won't be able to connect to XBL wich is logic

I think you missed the point of my post. The point was NOT about the procedure but about the missing critical information.
Anyone who has been on the scene for any lenght of times knows better than leaving there mod chip on when connecting to Xbox Live. But not every person out there is familiar with this.
