I recently installed tHc original to my xbox, but now I would like to try Lite. For the original I had to download a modified xbe to load the dash correctly. Has anyone got lite to work with a soft mod and if so how??? Does anyone know the appropriate line(s) of code to edit in Hexbe to run the dash on a soft mod???

You have to search in unicode latin for "xtf" and replace it with the extension of your original fonts. The original fonts are usually called ".xft". Just open your Fonts folder on C drive and check what they are if you dont know.

Or you could hex edit it to run from E: drive

yea it works..patch the thclite.xbe for your default.xbe or evoxdash whichever boots your xbox...probably from e:\dashboards\...so put the patched thclite.xbe in there and rename it the name of your default.xbe or evoxdash.xbe ..and put the rest of the thc lite files in the root... the config memoryx thcdata folder etc..goes in the root c:\...
