Ok so I found out that I have too updated my Dashboard... so while I'm waiting for my Mod Chip in the mail I wanted to use the MechSave game to play iso's off the HD... here's what I'm trying to do...
Run the mech savegame... works
FTP an ISO to my hd....done
Then play the ISO from the HD using just the evox that loaded from the mech save game... no idea how to do this
Any help would be great!
Also can I run other applications from the hd using the Mech save game?
Thanks

first the iso has to be unpacked then transfer
edit evox.ini to look for the game

Did you x-fer the .iso or did you extract (e.g. burn the .iso)??
If you are able to use the Mechassult Font / Audio hack you
should be able to FTP into your XBOX. Provideing that, that is
the case. You need to extract that .iso and then up that to the
XBOX. I don't know if you know what an .iso File is but it's a
Disk Immage that actualy needs to be burned on a Disk.
You can use Programs like 'Iso Buster' to extract these .iso's
on your HDD.
In any case you'll most likely need to edit some parts of your
Evox.ini File (on your XBOX), to point to the location of those said
Files. then it should work.
But, after you get that Modchip youd be good off to get a bigger HDD
8~10GB is not enough space to store those .mp3's and .avi's.
Not to mention those Game Backups!

Ok so can I edit the evox.ini of the save game hack?
Also what should I add to play the unexpanded ISO?

this is what I had to do:
with evox (latest version) on the E: partition I made a folder on the e: that looked like this : E:\games. The newest evox dash I had already had the lines in the .ini to look for this directory.
I then use craxtion 4 to extract the iso into it's own folder onto my PC. Then I just uploaded that folder to E:\games\ . I then had to reboot my Xbox and when you go into the dash go to launch menu ->Games and you should see the game you just uploaded. Just hit the "A" button and it should start.
