tried to soft mod friens xbox, hes cheap and doesnt want to buy a chip
did what tutorials said, mech game save worked, ftp worked, tranfered xtf bert ernie ok, now xbox gives me error 16 which i know is clock problem, just cant fix the clock error 16

tried hotswapping with configmagic to unlock the hdd so i can fix it with my modded box but no luck

any one have any ideas on how to fix


have 2 modded xboxes one with xbit,250 hdd and halo edition with executor orig hdd

trying softmod for first time

why don't you just hotswap with your modded xbox while running an evox cd. That will grant you full ftp acces and you can fix what you broke
