Not my specialist area but....
I believe retail XBOXs have a 1mb TSOP, in which the 256mb BIOS image is repeated four times.

thats what i thought.
The bios that the pbl loads is 256.

I don't believe PBL is limited to only loading 256mb BIOSes.

Hey thanks for your help.
I got it all fixed.It was my mistake.
I was doing the whole thing wrong but i got it now.

Only the early Xbox versions had a 1Mb TSOP containing 4 identical copies of the 256 kb bios. Later versions have a 256kb TSOP. The 1MB TSOP owners can use this to add a switch and flash different bioses to the TSOP.
Looking at the source, PBL should be able to load 256, 512 and 1MB bioses. If it's 256 or 512 kb it will be dublicated to 1Mb.
