Could you please tell me if this is doable.
I want to take my old hard drive boot it up to avaluanch and unlock it.
Then make xboxhdm disk with the eeprom from my other xbox.
put the cd and hard drive in the pc then generate the hdkey and lock the hd.
Put the hd in my other xbox

So you want to use the old HDD in another xbox?

That's possible if you do it right. Unlock old HDD, get new xbox eeprom, relock using password generated with new eeprom.

Ok i did that and put the key in just as i got from the generater.
Now all i get is a service screen with 06 in the top left corner.
I can't unlock it because my computer doesn't see it once it's locked.

How do i fix this?

Error 6 means you didn't lock it correctly.

Get the password you used from the log-file the locking tool generated. Unlock with this.
Next time use hdlock instead of unlockx if you didn't already do that.
