ok here is what i have

i have

a xbox green case with smoke black front

my question is if i take out the metal sheilding on the lid would the system overheat or not i don't want my case to melt

yes u can take it out and the lid will not melt.... don't know where u got that idea

everyone takes out the metal shielding...it doesnt really do a whole lot of anything...just there for decoration i guess
