Whenever I change the skins, bsx jumps to the xbox dash and i then I have to reboot to see the new skin. Is this something that I am doing wrong or a bug in the dash.

Easy... just check your config.xbx.. read(what little there is) if you got this far you'll figure it out... just make sure that beside "XBE name" that you have the actual name that your bsx .xbe is named
