False Rumours ::
We have been "looking" at a flash upgradeable design (connect to LPT port) but this will not be any kind of add-on and will be a seperate product designed for those that want to play around with the inferior BIOS files available online, if and when we ever decide to do it. This will be similar to the openbox but would be much cheaper and will not have any BIOS programmed to it. Remember if there is any news on X-ecuter - don't beleive it till you read it here. If we are working on something as opposed to just looking at something we will let you know.

Too bad, but I still go for X-ecuter!

If that is the case then, what did they mean earlier in the week when they said "There are cheap DIY ways and methods to flash the mod if you'd ever want to." ???
What does DIY means, Do It Yourself ???? How exactly could that be done... I don't plan to flash the mod but I would like to make sure it is possible...
And also what the hell was Technodevices.com comfirming???
Also, they earlier said, "The mod is easily disabled with a simple switch that can be external to the console." Does this mean we will need to make our own disabled switch and how??? I plan to by a mod casue I can't figure how to make my own milksop... But I would like to get the closes thing to it with the best Bios!
Don't get me wrong, I am still going to get an X-Ecuter. I prefer it over the PC-BioXX, but I would just like to clarify some of the specs before ordering.... Hopefully will get more info today if it gets release....

Hmm, now I am confused. Supposedly you CAN flash the X-ecuter bios... its just not mentioned how.
Also, the mod being easily disabled is just a simple switch on the single wire it has. No problem there.

"Also, the mod being easily disabled is just a simple switch on the single wire it has. No problem there."
So u believe that the single wire will come with a switch in between the two points that can be install outside the XBox for control??
Will we have to add more wire to get it outside of the xbox?? I wonder??
I think that the X-Ecuter will have both abilities: "DYI?(Do It Yourself)" Flashable and Mod Disabled Switch!!!
But I think the chips will not come with all the hardware(Extra wires install) needed for both of this options... Will pobably need to do some work at home??? I could be wrong but that is the way it sounds to me now... I keep hearing that it will be easy doing this and that, so it'll probably won't come standard...

Witness the FUD and confusion once again coming from the X-ecuter camp. When will you guys learn?

I am still getting a X-Ecuter!!! So will know all the specs once it's release, I won't be crying... I'll just wait ti'll it's out!!!!!

*Sighs* It seems like a long wait until its release (august 5th). They seem to keep pushing the release date forward. I am sure they have their reasons.
And pluto, gnat does not hate x-ectuer itself. He hates the fact that the team has fucked around with the consumer too much, "spreading FUD and confusion"
Acutally, I can see past that shit and concentrate on the REAL thing, the thing thats going to be delivered AT MY DOOR. I dont care what the X-ecuter team states, I just know that the chip is going to be great and that I am going to get it (just by reading the confirmed specs, ie: ease of use and installation, all bios related shit unlocked). Thats all I need.

The delay I believe is because they did not recieve the chips from the factory today and hopefully will get them tomorrow and have them sent out on Monday.

It makes sence to release it on a monday, no difference on the shipping time!!
I did agree with gnat that there were alot of rummors even by the X-Ecuter team itself that turn out to be untrue, I spected that while the mod was in development....
But he seems to think that the "FUD" or "TROLL" or whatever he wants to call it actually overwrites the X-Ecuters true specs... which won't be completely known ti'll it's finally release....

I just don't think that the "true specs" of X-ecuter are actually all that impressive... They hyped it up as a simple to install, most complete mod for Xbox, and it has not (IMO) met up to either of those expectations.
Anyway, this argument is getting stale. I'm just tired of their bait-n-switch advertising tactics.

cool, so if the single wire disables the chip (what i thought) u just have to easily make an external switch, and flash your onboard bios!!, now u have dual bios in ur xbox with just a switch (there is no need for openBox in my opinion) and u cna flash ur onboard one way eeeasier than pc-bioxx.

X-Ecuter is the best Bios... That is what I care about. Installations are the same no matter what. U solder an X-amount of points through holes or using wires(same difference). All I want is a mod with all the available hacks that can be flash.
If the X-Ecuter Bios is rip or if EvoX releases a all-in-one Bios version and it's 100% compatible with the PC-BioXX mod then those that got the PC-BioXX are going to be better off.... So I will wait a couple of weeks to see what happens.... If the X-Ecuter is flashable through some do it yourself method then I'll go for the X-Ecuter... As of right now... X-Ecuter has the Bios I want and PC-BioXX has the flashable feature I want... I will wait ti'll either one conbines both features...

GTac01, the last time I checked, U can not flash your on board bios with the X-Ecuter, even if it's disable... I don't plan to mess with it... That is why I prefer a flashable mod instead... Specially if u need the on board Bios for XBox Live.... K

Does anyone else sees the arrogance of X-ecuter's statement to assume that thier BIOS is superior than the rest?

U'r right, they are arrogant bastards.... But I don't give a damn about that... All I care about is if the mod has the best Bios and is flashable.... I will wait ti'll I confirm either the X-Ecuter or PC-BioXX is.....

Hrmmmm.... my "inferior BIOS" is running on my machine right now.
Where is X-ecutor? Nowehere, you say? Hrmmmmm....
My part is also socketed, so it's a simple matter to swap it out or remove it. Ooops, you say that isn't possible with X-ecutor? Really?
I'd be willing to give the X-ecutor team the benefit of the doubt, but their trash talking is getting EXTREMELY ANNOYING. They are still delaying shipments and aren't providing a means to update a chip that pretty much gets installed permanently.
Very short-sighted, if you ask me.
What happens when somebody discovers some obscure issue and become stuck with the bug because they installed an X-ecutor (assuming it ever ships, of course)?
I'd say they should keep their mouths shut until their product truly hits the streets.

Like I said before, I am buying the modchip for its features and advantages. I dont give a crap what X-ecuter team does with their publicity stunts.
