What exactly is the difference between a Cold Cathode and a Ultra Violet Cold Cathode?

UV cathodes are like black lights, they make things glow.

In any case, does adding a circular cold cathode mean heat issues? Would I have to add a side fan or 12V mod/80mm fan mod, or can I get away with what it comes with?
Finally which one would u suggest would look "better" in an extreme edition Xbox (see thru green) a UV CC or standard CC.

They do warm up, but I havent expieranced heat issues. If you can get a UV Green cathode, then put that in, elsewise, just go for the regular green.

Heat isnt really an issue. i like cold cathodes because they offer more even light (circular - under the jewel). Uv cold cathods are like black lights. they just make certain things glow in the dark.

no heat issues at all...
i dont think they sell 80mm round UV green cathodes

another tip, check the product discription of the CC. Some times online stores say its a cold cathode light but its just a neon light, they burn out very fast and are cheaper.

well round CCs come WITH fans, so you can just replace the stock one anyways with it.
