I am thinking about ordering from this site. Is this really the solderless mod-chip bundle? On the features below it says nothing about the solderless adapter, but in the picture it has one. I just hope that this is the solderless one. Anyone know?

Why would you want to order a premodded box with a non solder chip? They slip out of place so much.

I've never ordered from them, but it seems legit enough.

Current SOLDERLESS designs are far superior to the first generation of solderless options.. of which you are clearly familiar.

Today's solderless. .when installed properly.. will survive shipping across the country easily. You have no more reason to believe such a unit sent far distances would misalign that you would have reason to believe that the Laser in the assembly will misalign.

It's all about PROPER installation.

Today's Solderless are excellent options. (for those who can't or won't solder a pinheader.)

Is this the solderless thing i want? It doesnt say anything about having the solderless connection. Is the link to the solderless mod-chip and xenium ice?

That link is to the Xenxium Ice modchip, with the X-S-or-Ease kit, which includes alot of goodies, it also includes the solderless adapter.

It doesnt say that it includes the solderless adapter on the website.
CSPope
it does, i have ordered it...
stainer711
Are you ABSOLUTELY sure? Did you actually recieve it?
CSPope
yes!

So u installed it using the no-soldering method? It has the no-soldering thing in the picture, but not in the technical features portion.
falken98
cause it is just listing the tech features of the chip. it includes it.

Soldering isn't something to be intimidated by....it's rather simple.
