I'm trying to get some details on the format of entried to the codecs.conf file (trying to add support for divx and mp4 codec .mov files... So far xmbp will play the audio, but not the video although it is a standard .mp4 stream- I'm also not askign for an arguement about "It can't be done", but rather just a description of how this file needs to be configured- I can get it from there.

Hi!
It seems there is support for Windows DLL's in XBMP 2.2
It also seems you either have to wait, or write your own

no, support only exist for these specific wmv dll's ...however support for other dll's will be added but one at a time, it's a slow & hard process. |
^From Gamester17 on XBMP Forums...
Other that that, im not sure how else you could configure it.

You probably dowloaded the COMPLEX edition of xbmp 2.2. Complex has added a bunch of dlls that were designed for Windows I think, and I therefore not used by Xbmp. Only wmp 7,8,9 dlls are fully functionnal now.
