Hey guys, I recently just flashed my friend's Xbox with an Xecuter 4983 BIOS and the flash went fine, but now, when I try booting the two different EvoX boot discs I have it won't read either of them! It gives me error code 16 and I don't know what that means. Anyone know whats wrong? I am using an Xecuter 2.3B Lite and it is a pin header install. Everything is working fine except for the dang Samsung drive that won't read anything. My Thompson drive works better than the stupid thing...

Well error 16 is supposedly date/time or dashboard error. But another guy on here today said it had to do with his DVD rom.

Make sure the time is set currectly in the dashboard. If that doesnt work, try reseating the cables in the DVD-rom.

Other than that, hook up a different drive and try it that way, at least get evox loaded on there. Then figure it out.

That other guy would be ME! lol. Anyways I think I must have fucked up my dvd rom pretty bad. If you haven't ever touched or removed your dvd rom then thats prob. not your problem.

how can i reset the time in the dashboard if i have nothing on the hard drive?
