I was wondering if it was possible to make a switch for 2 hard drives that when flipped to one side, it would turn off the modchip and use stock hard drive, and when flipped to the other side, would turn mod on and use non-stock hard drive? i have never seen it done, so i was just wondering...

of course it's possible!

wire the enable switch of the modchip through a relay from the 5v part of the large hard drive. When you use the switch to give power to the large hard drive, the modchip will also get power (through the relay). If not, the modchip won't even power up, but the stock hard drive will.

Hope this is understandable.

i understand somehwhat, im not too good with electronics, i know how to wire LED's and that sit...lol thx for your help.

Using a relay is completely unnecessary. You just need a 4pdt switch. Just run the 5v, 12v, mod enabled, and mod led each through the common pole. Then, wire one side up to turn the modchip on and power your big hd. Wire the other side to just turn on the stock hd and power the disabled color of the led (if applicable).
