I just ordered a xenium solderless chip, but am having second thoughts of moding the xbox myself. This is due to a complete lack of technological awareness. If I were to have someone mod the xbox for me, could he solder the chip or would it not work because I ordered the solderless version? I'm asking this because I heard that it's better to solder a chip in an xbox, and I want to have the better modded xbox if possible.

The chip itself is not solderless but it does come with the solderless adaptor. And soldering is definitely better than using the solderless adaptor

If you have a recent 1.6 xbox, there is no true solderless option because the LPC must also be rebuilt by soldering a few wires onto the motherboard.
