Hi,
Could someone PLEASE give answers to these questions? I'm really desperate...
I have a DVD with Xbox ISOs, for example Spiderman2.iso. I want to play it on my modified Xbox, but could someone tell my, in detailed steps, how I can burn it on a DVD so I can play it? I've tried SO many things, but EVERY time I put the DVD in my Xbox, it says 'DVD: Unknown'. I've found a program to open up the ISO, and then there are all kinds of maps like 'Levels', 'Movies', 'Enemies', etc. I've also tried burning all these maps and the remaining files in the ISO, but the Xbox says it's Unknown again. What am I doing wrong? Could it be because it's burned on a +R DVD? Also, my Xbox's modified with an Aladdin Advance chip, and the DVD burning program is Nero, or DVDEncrypter.
Thanks in advance..!

Also, I'm really sorry if this is in the wrong topic.

There are all kinds of tutorials for this on X-S. You need to burn a CD from image file using that ISO as your image file. In Nero, it's Recorder -> Burn Image.
Mr Ed
It could be a +R issue. Did your XBOX ship with a Samsung drive?
Manick123
Yeah, I have a Samsung drive. Can't +R DVDs be played on a Samsung?

NO!
Only if you set the booktype to DVD-ROM then it can. I'm not about to explain this again for 100th time what Book Type is.

Just follow the tut's on how to backup games and you shouldnt have (m)any problems.

If you have a samsung drive backup to dvd-r's, unless your dvd burner has bitsetting capabilities.

So that was the problem. GREAT thanks, you guys've helped me alot!

Ah, one more question, I've just read that the Samsung drive can also read all CD-R/RW. If I would burn an ISO with a game on a CD-R, could I play that game on my Xbox?

If it can fit on a cdr or cdrw then it should work fine.
