Okay...
I've gotten EvoX up and running off of a disc on my modchipped XBOX.
Now, however, I cannot get my Xbox connected with my PC by FTP...
I should start by saying that I am using a router. I've got 2 PC's in the house, and and 2 Xboxes.
One XBOX, the XBOX I'm using, runs off of the MS Wireless Networking kit.
I booted up EvoX, got the IP 192.168.100.10 and proceeded to attempt to connect to this address by FTP (Flash FXP) and it did not work. I tried connecting by another PC (Windows ME) it did not work. I moved my XBOX off of the wirless connection and onto my hardline connection through the other XBOX....it did not work.
Then, I looked at my network settings while the XBOX was hooked up to the wireless kit. It lists the IP as 192.168.2.7 and the gateway as 192.168.2.1 .....
I tried connecting that way by FTP...it didn't work either....
What do I do????
Thanks!

Ok this just a guide and not the solution.
PC Settings
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties
IP address 192.168.0.2
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Default gateway 192.168.0.1
Xbox Settings
IP address 192.168.0.160
Subnetmask 255.255.255.0
Default gateway 192.168.0.1

Well the PC settings is in your "network places" in your PC. You have to go to your network places folder and right click the NIC (network interface card) and go to properties and go to TCP/IP properties and put in whatever Ip address you have.

well, i figured out the IP address for my PC:
it's assigned by DHCP
ip address: 192.168.2.147
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
default gateway: 192.168.2.1
for my XBOX, EvoX shows:
ip: 192.168.100.10
subnet: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.100.1
for my XBOX, the MS Dash shows:
ip: 192.168.2.7
subnet: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.2.1
