Yes it will, but you can't use the GS2 disks to do the swap. You must use Swap Magic to do the swap.

I beg to differ, but you can swap with the GS disc. You have to do a double swap because of the Table of Contents issue with the PS2. First you boot the Game Shark, then as soon as it boots, you swith the GS disc for Devil May Cry, (That is the best disc to use because it has a 4.3GB TOC) next you choose Start Games, then choose With Codes. you must have Armored Core 2 selected. Next Press Start Game. this will make the disc stop spinning. now press the Circle button to go back. Now press Start Game, choose Without Codes and press X. now is where the no solder comes in, press and hold the eject button till the eject light changes color and swap the DMC disc for your backup DVD and press X, you should be good to go. This sounds complicated but once you do it a couple of times it is easy. Better to use a Swap Magic, because it is just a single swap. There is an issue with some of the V7 no solders, a lot of them dont work. If you are afraid of soldering or are worried about Online Mod Detection for the PS2 then go with the Swap Magic and the Flip Top Cover. This is a slick working combo. beerchug.gif

Well, that's what the general info around the web is. I am using a v7 with no solder. GS2 doesn't work on it, but swap magic does. My other ps2 has magic 3.5 in it.
