I have downloaded a few of those custom/converted 3rd party "X" games as they were, examples: BakuBakuX, BeatsOfRageX, InvaderX, KoboX and PackmanX etc...

I've been trying to work out for a while how to run these games as I haven't got a clue and assumed that they ran themselves using the "default.xbe" file that came with all of them, so obviously you need some sort of program or an "X" emulator to run them maybe?

Did you read the included readme's?

they do run themselves, they are the actual games, just make sure you ftp them over exactly as you see them (include the media folders, don't move stuff around rename it etc.), also i couldn't help but notice barrageX wasn't on the list

Only played Beats Of Rage from that list but I'm sure you need to get certain files from the PC version. Should all be in the read.me somewhere I guess
