I sold a hard drive on here and it was set up with the Slayers install disc. I used that same disc to lock the drive. It was requested to unlock the drive or it wouldnt be much good. If I use the slayers disc again and unlock it should that make it to where he can just hook it up and everything will work like it did on mine?

You are best to lock it with Config Magic then unlock it immediately because it will set a safety master password that may be of great use to the buyer in the future, but to answer your question, thats all you gotta do..

So youre saying if I use the slayers install disc to unlock the drive that will work as well? What about the unlock text file it leaves on E? delete it or leave it alone?
