I'm new, obviously, but I do have a CMPSCI degree, although it's been a while since I've used anything I've learned in college.
Here goes: I've pinged by xbox via FTP connected with a CAT5 Patch cable and got the required 4 responses from my command prompt on my PC, but when I try to get a connection via QWIX or CRAXTION they won't recognize the connection. Am I supposed to be running some FTP client on my XBOX at the same time as my PC? If so, what is it? I'm currently running EvolutionX dash while pinging.

if your running evox, just use like flashfxp and connect to the IP shown on the evox dash using xbox/xbox on port 21... make sure evox is running while u are ftping
as for qwix, i know everytime i load it it tells me i have to add a ftp site... ::Shrugs:: good luck

make sure you don't have any software firewall on the pc messing things up

if he is gettin ping replies then most likely its not a firewall issue

I've tried the xbox usrname and xbox password (which are shown on my system as being correct) with both Qwix and Craxtion; tried it even using Internet Explorer (ftp://xbox:xbox@168.192.1.200) and that won't work either.

By ". . .make sure Evox is running. . ." do you mean to make sure I have the EvolutionX dash up upon start-up of my xbox? I have that set as my default dash and my machine is turned on while attempting to FTP. Is there something else I should be doing?
