There is a mod where you add a dvd-rom to the xbox, where you disconnect the ide cable from the original dvd-rom and put that into the other dvd-rom and leave the yellow cables in the original dvd-rom in the xbox. Well, instead of the dvd-rom, can a use my cd-rom or cd-burner so I can get my xbox to read the boot evox disc? Someone said you could but didnt leave details and im still wondering if its ok. Yep, you'll need to split the power cable used for the hdd though.
