hey i was loading a newer version of XBMC onto my xbox from comp using the prog flashxtp. my comp froze, i restarted it, and when i tried to ftp with my xbox it wouldnt connect. what went wrong and how can i fix it?

is the xbox still on? you need to be chillin in the dash for the FTP server on the xbox to work...

yeah its on and im still in the dash.

ive rebooted everything and still nothing, checked the cables....all the basic stuff ive tried and still nothing. any suggestions?

If yuo use a router, unplug the power for about 30 seconds then plug it back in.. Might solve your problem.. This is a general troubleshooting step anytime connections stop working with a router installed.
