Full Version: X2 Lite Switch Question.

Hey Everyone, I have a few questions if anyone can help out please. I installed the x2 lite, I could'nt figure out how to back up the original hard drive, so I just put in a new 80 gig drive and ran Slayers disk. Everything is working great except, when the modchip is switched off the xbox does the three boot red flash thing. How can I get it to when the switch is off it goes back to the regular xbox dash and everything? Also, how can I know put the info from my original Hard Drive on the new one(ie saves, xbox live)? Thank you guys.
You have to LOCK your new drive to boot it with the original MS BIOS.
TO make a backup, just put in your original HD (this one will boot with modchip OFF) and BOOT with an Evolution DVD or CDRW. (Netwerokcable attached !)
FTP to your XBOX and copy all drives to your PC.
Replace the HD with the BIG one and do the same and copy all file back to the new DRive.
