... K... Got Banned somehow... DOH!

Got new EEPROM... Flashed New EEPROM...Retail Kernal now sees XBOX Live... Attempting to do Account Recovery...

(Not sure I am using correct Credit Card, I have 2 or 3 it could have been chaged too, but is has been forever since renewal).

But after entering what I beleive to be the correct CC, I am getting following message on XBL

"ACCOUNT CANNOT BE USED AT THIS TIME. TRY AGAIN LATER"

Does this mean I'm still banned, or my Acct is now banned as well as the EEPROM that I just wiped out?

Yo i got the same problem But im 99% SURE ihave all the info Correct to retriev my lost account. and I know im not banned cuz the Y=4860 or sumthing not Y=6850,,,, like b4 cuz I change the EEPROM....

anyhow:

if I load Up my OLD banned eeprom I can see my LIVEgametag save, the question is:

can I somehow FTP it to my other eeprom(the Unbanned 1) ?¿(i dont hav the memory unit)

and wuld it work for my Ninja gaiden saved games cuz I can play them on the old BANNED eeprom.....but if I use the Unbanned Eeprom the remain demaged..

BUT!!! I just try to get on the xbox live with my old baned EEPROM and i got an NETWORK error sumthing bout my router... and my Y=code change from Y=6### to Y=03e0 <- does it mean tht my old EEPROM got unbanned..?

I've got the exact same problem. Just installed new Xenium Ice with 250gb Maxtor, formatted E through Evox Ftp raw commands, turned AUTO SIGN IN off and attempted account recovery. Put in what I know to be the right information, after about 4 times of putting in wrong info and making updates I get "Account Cannot be Used at This Time". I am booting my Original Xbox Bios through Xenium OS2. Let me know if anyone can help or has fixed this.

Well, I acutally called XBOX and told em that I wasn't able to do the account recover (they didn't ask why I needed to do it in the first place)... so after some chit-chat, they emailed me my information (CC, Phone, etc,etc) so I could re-enter...

I asked about this error and the nice XBOX Live lady on the other end of the phone said it will lock you out of the account for some ammount of time (1 hr?) if you enter wrong info... so I just waited a bit, and then enter the recovery info they emailed me, and then I was golden again...

Off to getting my assed kicked on Madden 2005 I went...

Yeah they told me once you get locked out it takes an hour to get it unlocked so you can try your account recovery again. I called and they were able to manuall unlock me in about 5 minutes. I enter the correct account data and I was fine.

i had this problem it turned out i had 2xbox dashboards in c an old 1 off slayers and a live updated 1 got rid of old dash and it worked

Hey guys, I got mine working last night after calling xbox tech support as well. Was missing a period after my middle initial, and they do lock it after a few attempts using the wrong information. I'm stoked, modded with xbox live, best media center I've ever owned.
