im not sure if its a bug or not, but i havent been able to copy some discs to my hdd. ive put halo nmp and crimson skies on my box w/ no problems, but last night i tried to put on TOCA2 Racing sim on my hdd, and unleash gave me an error, error 5. what does this mean? i thought it might be the game so i took another one of my games that i never put on my hdd (Fallout: B.O.S.) and it did the same thing... i dont know whats going on. i figured there might have just been a foul up because i reloaded halo and and also put in mechassault with no problems, and now, half way through loading TOCA2 racing sim it stopped on a shader.xvu file. But now the error code is 123, not 5. i then thought it might be newer games that arent working, so i got a brand new rainbow six 3 copy, and it loaded onto my hdd without problems.
help would really be appreciated!!! THANX!

had the same problem with Toca 2 mate i think it has filenames which are too
long to go on the hard drive (the file system doesnt support filenames that
long but the DVD's are allowed them - dont know why!)
i didnt have time to find a workaround but you could try renaming it
and editing the link in the xbe file to the new name if possible - just an idea

Sorry, I don't have a solution, just wanted to say that I've had this problem as well 
I don't believe its the game that is causing the the error when copying, its the DVD.
If you find that one game doesn't copy, go and rent a different copy of it. That one should work.

if thats the case you could try using dvd2xbox and rip it directly to a samba share on your computer and then rebun it to a dvd again. But that defeats the point of putting it on your harddrive anyway.
Don't know much about TOCA2 but I have Fallout:BOS. Mine copies to the hdd w/o probs, so I don't think it's a long-filename issue.
Even if you don't want to rip to a SMB share on your PC, you could use DVD2Xbox to rip to your hdd. make sure the error logging is turned on. the log file should give you a better idea of where the problem lies.

I actually downloaded a new version of dvd2xbox,(v5.9) and It ripped TOCA2 with no problems at all!!
