Hi I have my Xecuter installed. I soldered it in perefectly because the LPCs already had solder in them tongue.gif. The D0 point was also soldered on the top of the MoBo and it IS connected. I may be wrong but you cant wiggle it at all its very snug on the d0 because I knew it had to be.

Turn on with it Disabled = Sounds like its booting fine, ...., FRAG
Turn on with it Enabled = Immediate FRAG

Dont know whats wrong. What usually remedes this. Also this is a crystal European box so do you think that would effect it on an american tv?

Thanks need to get this thing working!

First off the tv would'nt cause a frag problem. It might cause a game to play in black and white but I dont see how it would be possible for it to cause the frag problem. With that said fragging can be caused by alot of things. To start with I would go back and double check EVERYTHING you did in the installation. Make sure theres no solder splashes, chip is firmly in place and making the proper contact, no traces got lifted in the installation, everything is reconnected correctly etc,etc,etc.. Im not about to claim that im an expert on modding but i've done enough work with computers to know that the biggest mistake made is when you think that you're a real smart a** and know what you're doing as i've done that myself more times than I would ever admit to here or anywhere(lol). Anyway hope this helps abit.

Well this is my second attempt to comment on your problem as for some reason the first one did'nt post. Anyway the tv difference if you're refering to your fraging problem could'nt cause it as far as I know. I've read in here that might cause some games to have video problems but nothing was mention in regards to causing a fragging problem. There are quite a few things that can cause an xbox to frag especially after a new chip install. What I would suggest would be to go back through everything and make sure there is no lifted traces, bridges, cold soldered joints, the chip is seated properly, all contact points are making the proper contact, and last but not least that all the componets and their cables or connectors are connected properly. Im no expert on modding but i've done enough work on computers to know that one of the biggest mistakes that every one will make sooner or later is to think that their work is second to none and that theres no way they could have made a mistake.

Fraging can be caused by several things. The first thing that I would suggest would be to go back and make sure any soldering points are good and that none of them could be considered to be a cold joint. Next make sure none of the traces have been lifted and most important of all that all your componets are connected properly. As for the tv weither its a pal or ntsc the only effect that might cause as far as I know has been known to cause problems with game play being in black and white but dont think this could cause a fragging problem though.

Well first off I dont see how the tv difference could cause the fragging on your xbox if thats what you're asking. I've heard that it can cause a game to be displayed in b/w instead of color but thats all i've noticed. With that said the only other thing that I might come up with is to even though you've probably already done so is to go bavk and make sure theres no lifted traces, or cold soldered joints broken connections or whatever. Assuming that does'nt provide an answer check all your cable connections especially on the HDD as if this cable is connected wrong the xbox WILL NOT boot up as the system won't detect any kind of operating system on it. Hope some of these ideas might help.
