i got soem games on my xbox hard drive but when i ftp over to my xbox instead of saying "games, halo" it shows a bunch of little squar shapes where the name of the folder and files should be...im guessing its some kind of xbox code? how do i view my g-damn folder name in ENGLISH and its contents

calm down Why dont you just create the folder yourself and send the games to it?
jcautela
Or Just rename the folder in an xbox file manager like boxplorer, xboxtoolbox, or most dashboards have one. Or just do it on your pc through ftp> right click folder> rename.
Not a problem anymore.

im not that dumb, i cannot see the files that are in there, it does not even show that there are files...but when i load the game from xbox it loads fine and i can read the folder name...

Are you sure your xbox is partitioned and formated correctly? Also try viewing it in another dashboard, or another filebrowser for xbox.
shadow420man
I CAN view my games in the dashboard, its when i try to look at them over the computer i cant see them

what did you use to rip the game? I'm assuming not DVD2XBOX.
shadow420man
actually i riped games with both dvd2xbox and the unleash x dashboard menu
C o s m o
that's odd. dvd2xbox assigns the games actual name to the file when i use it. pxhdd loader usually just assigns a number like "game0, game1...". have you tried using that?
Crucifiedego
Yea, I just did Madden....it auto-assigned the name to the game....not Game 1, Game 2, etc....
