Ok, I have surreal64, I ftp'd it to f/apps/surreal64. The roms for it are in f/roms/n64 on my xbox, I have had goodn64/good windows rename them. I have also edited the surreal.ini in the tdata folder and in the emulator folder to point at the roms, but they still don't show up when I load up surreal64. Anyone know why it's not working/

just one thing, are you 100% sure you've edited your .ini file correctly, usually follows the format of E(for example):/Apps/Emulators/Surreal 64/Roms/ etc.
Also to get mine to work make sure you have fully refreshed your ftp program and surreal- try booting up your xbox after you have edited.

I have surreal64 in F/Apps/Surreal64, and I have my roms in F/Apps/N64. I am 100% sure that I have my .ini file pointing to the roms. Should I move my roms? Also I just have the roms all together should I put each one in their own folder?

F:/Apps/Surreal64/roms (Example)

Put all roms in the same folder.

Surreal64 ini file will be "roms=F:/Apps/Surreal64/roms "

You can put the roms folder anywhere on the xbox HDD,
just have the ini file edited for Surreal64 to find them.

It is best to make the roms folder a sub folder of Surreal64.


Whatever you name the "roms" folder name it the same in the ini.


P.S To leave things the way you have them now edit the ini file
as follows

roms=f:/roms

You have f:/roms/n64 This would only work if you have your roms in the
N64 folder.

try deleteing the surreal 64 save, go to the ms dashboard, go to your memory manger, find the save for surreal, it even has a picture of toad on it
toss that
reinstall surreal 64 back on to your xbox, and of course make sure you edited you ini the right way

you might also want to press the refresh button in the bottom right in surreal to refresh your roms if they don't show up
