I want to get dvd2xbox on the hard drive.. I can connect w/ ftp and transfer the files but ....... I'm supposed to goto the systems utilities folder to copy games???
is that some other bios or what?

just FTP the dvd2xbox folder to F:\Apps\ and it should work right off the bat

you need a dash. Mod the dash info to point to the directory where you copied the apps over, eg: F:\Apps, then you can access your apps from that dash.
