hi
a friend has an xbox with an enigmah chip installed, but he wants to upgrade his HDD (enigmah doesn't support this). will ude work without removing the chip, so i can upgrade using xboxhdm ?

you shouldn't have an xbx exploit AND a mod-chip (an a crappy one at that) installed and working at the same time. Either, install UDE and get rid of the mod-chip, or, get a better chip.

You could just make PBL the first run xbe which will push in a bios that supports a larger hard drive.

yeah just run pbl. That's done by a lot of dudes with old chips. It will let you kick in the newest bios.
