Hey I was on here a while back with problems, well i got everything fixed and since have done some friends xbox's with no prob at all. however a friend of mine bought a brand new xbox (d:5838) and the green garbled screen comes up. well i've waited till the green blinking light came up rebooted and nothing. Also my log file says:

ERROR! You asked for UDE2 but the Xbe region of your xbox is :
Sat Sep 4 22:52:21 UTC 2004 Aborting...

UDE2 only works for US/Canada XBoxes. And 1.6 XBoxes must use UDE2.

From the looks of the error log it seems like that xbox you are trying to mod isn't a US/Canada one. if it isn't you have to change the region thru eeprom (there's a guide on this forum about it) and then apply UDE2

This is not my problem, the xbox was bought at a walmart in the US and i can assure you it is a NTSC.

you didn't say what version of ltools you used ? Also, I can't see the game region in the message ? So is it a mistype or what ? It should be either 1, 2 or 4.
