Full Version: Error 07 Problem With Aladdin Advance +

i tried to put a aladdin advance plus and i solder the d0 to the alternative d0 on the back of motherboard . since then it show an error 07 but i never touch the hdd its the original. i change the ide cable because the original was broken could this have to be with my problem? thx

if u look through the forums or search there is a post explaining all the different error codes think it mite be in the hardware forum

Double check your cables to the both the dvd and hdd. If they are secured in there, then chances are your hdd is dead.

how can my hdd can die ? i didn't touch it . when i power on the xbox he was running but my xbox cant detect it but my computer detect it.

Error 7 either means your cables are attached properly or your hdd is dead/dying. If it works in your computer, I'd say your cables aren't properly seated in the connectors. Sometimes pulling the cables from the hdd will make the connectors loose and it doesn't allow the metal contacts to touch properly.

Yes - perhaps it is not connected the right way round (cable select requires devices be connected in the correct position). Try changing the HD to master, try another IDE cable etc.

what do you mean you mean the ide cable? or the litle pin on the hdd.
