i can ftp movies in the divx or xvid format to the box but not like an iso. Is there a procedure i have to do before i can put an actual movie on the box thats like 4 gigs or so? If so could someone help me out? What do i have to do?

you mean a dvd iso. Well the way to go about that is to extract the entire contents of the dvd image to somewhere on your hard drive (on your computer) then ftp the entire contents of the image to the xbox. The other way to go about it is to burn the dvd to a dvd-r and then use dvd2xbox (but that will only get the main video) then use xbox media center to play it.
