Yes... a chip will work fine... You need to rebuild LPC tho... And use m8_1.6 as your BIOS.

lol, good one. That's be wierd to find out hwo to flash the 1.6 bios somehow. I heard that there is some wierd encrypted comunication between two points that MS set up so that something or many things would work as a TSOP. Don't care anyway. im really tired.

The problem i have found is that the Xcyclops has bee write protected permenantly to make a tsop impossible? Would MS really do this or is it a spoof with the access points disguised very well? Anyone wanting good diagrams of the 1.6 can find here but this is for modchips really....

Sorry, i actually have a legitimate question. I just got the x2.6 lite. I havent soldered it on yet, but once I do so, will I still need to flash anything in order for me to play my backed up games?

I know this isn't the correct section but maybe in your tutourial you should include a link to the soft mods for 1.6's . I mean its funny and all but as long as it is pinned maybe it could help some people out . Just a thought .

I jus got an xchip from easybuy2000.com (its a new release). then I installed it with a solderless kit. so then everything is working well. It boot me up on a bios. then I dont kno what to do. I jus bought the chip late Nov 2004. Then I kinda flashed the bios without any idea wat flash means. then when I turned it off and on. the green light turned flashing green n red. then i turned it off again then turned on it wont load me to bios menu. But when I connect my usb. then turned on the xbox then the xbox starts flashing red n green again.
