Hey guys....I'm fairly new to the xbox mod scene and have a simple question I think someone could easily answer.

I just installed an xecutor 2.3b lite mod chip into my xbox.....soldered that shit in and everything

Now, I have a Thomson Drive so I can't get it to read ANY sort of CD-RW disc that I have and do not have access to a DVD-R or DVD-RW drive.

If I go ahead and use the Splinter Cell exploit to load up EvoX....I can go ahead and just pretend I used that as an EvoX boot disc and load EvoX on normally, WITHOUT FONT HACKS....IS THIS CORRECT???

Basically, I can't get the EvoX bootdisc to load so I'm assuming that I can load it through splinter cell, put it on the hard drive...and then I won't need the font hacks. I really don't know what the font hacks do, but it seems to me, that with the mod chip, I just need to get EvoX onto the hard drive so it loads up all the time and I can work from there.

Won't work.

Your not booting from the modchip and there for you can't flash the modchip.

Keep hammering your Tommy or swap in your PC drive just to flash the chip.
