i have recently taken my xbox to be fitted with a mod chip. not knowing alot about the matter i let him install whichever chip he thought best. Think it was some form of an enigmah?
anyway, aint made any back-ups of my games yet, do i have to use any particular brand or type of media?
if it helps my xbox is a pal one bought on the day of release so i assume its version 1.0 right?
would appreciate any help cos i dont really know all that much about mods and that!

It has nothing to do with the type of modchip you have.

I would suggest you browse and search, because the answer partially depends on your DVD drive in your Xbox and a number of other things/

find out what dvd drive you have, some read more media than others

some ppl even report that cd-r's work for them.

in my case, i had an old cd-rw lying around, burnt, and it worked fine.

was lucky cause i dont have access to any dvd-r media or anything like that

a cd-rw should work for ya dude
