First off i have the Xenium ICE mod chip, a 40 GB hard drive, with evox.
I have the retail disk of Street Racing Syndicate from a friend. The problem is i try to play the game off of the retail disk and the game locks up after the please wait screen right after I start the game.

im sorry, come again about how this has to do with backing up a game?
or is it, you cant get it to play, so you cant back it up?
if so, then you should go back and read the rules of posting...

but if you are just trying to play a "retail disc" then i would see if its scratched. other than that i dont know besides bad dvd drive.

got much the same problem here. used my softmodded box to play a backup disk of Street Racing Syndicate and all worked fine. Today I upgraded my box with a 160GB HD and now the Game stucks everytime it starts at the "please wait" screen. sound is hangin in some sort of loop. Maybe anybody got an Idea?
