so i had to hotswap because i accidentally removed the xboxdash.xbe from c: so i hot swapped and put it back on...now it's really slow playing games if it plays them at all. It won't play 2 of my originals and on all my originals it might take 2 or 3 times to load it. Is this permanent? Any one else have this problem?

i am sure someone on here will come to your rescue, but my advice would be to put a whole new ms dashboard... and refresh everything

Thats like accidently deleting the Windows folder... accidently fdisking the active drive or accidently backing into a large dump truck that happened to be parked at the end of your driveway and be dressed in your cap and gown trying not to be late for your own graduation....... OH wait I did do that one.

But I never deleted my dashboard. Why did you have to swap out the Hard Drive, couldn't you have regained the file by just popping in a Slayer's Boot Disk?

Don't know what would cause it to be slow... maybe its your HDs revenge

You can try reformatting it with slayers.

lol i deleted but i put the wrong one back on thats what messed the whole show up...and no i couldnt load through slayers because before it even read anything from the drive it would give me the customer service 21 error if it read then i wouldnt of had a problem could have just used my save game exploit to FTP back in. It wouldnt do ANYTHING just the M$ logo.Like is said it was my only option. I have come to find out all the emulators work perfectly and the games work fine that i put on the hard drive...so now i think it's disc drive related...which is really weird considering i didnt mess with the drive.

P.S Crimson Skies will not work at all anymore the original, the backup, and it on the harddrive....weird...
