Anyone know how I can unlock my friends stock xbox HD he gave me? He doesn't have his HD password and has a new HD in his xbox. He doesn't live where I do so I can't give it back to him to get it either.

Is this possible?

I have xboxhdm but it doesn't sound like I can use that.

I guess he could email you his eeprom. You could flash it to your xbox, then swap the hdd and unlock it. Then reflash your old eeprom back.. Only other way is on his box.

If he emails you his eeprom you can use xboxhdm to unlock it..
