I hope someone can shed some light on this problem I have.

When I connect my xbox to my PC via a cross-over cable, 9/10 times it will set itself to 100/Half. I'm using static IP addressing. I will then have to change the network link speed settings on the PC to 100/half - which forces the xbox to reset itself to 100/full. I then reset the PC link speed to 100/full. Even after all this, I still may not be able to connect to the xbox via FlashFXP or the XBMC SMB shares. I've tried setting my PC to auto-detect and that does not work either. I've used 2 other PCs/Notebooks and get the same problem. Any ideas? Thnx in advance.

have you tried with any other link partners? It sounds like the ICS PHY in the xbox is having issues with autoneg on you PC's NIC. THIS link should spread some light on the subject.
