i was using the hotswapping method

i was at the part where it said "root@Xbox-HDM:/1" and i was suppose to type in "UDE" but after that it said cannot find file so i turned of the computer and the xbox and put everything back but when i turned on my xbox it showed the logo then instead of going to the dashboard it went to a screen that says "your xbox requires service please call customer support"...

so i just want to know if my xbox is dead..or is there a way to fix this???
thewickedjester
possibly just corrupt information. but if the kernel loads off the hdd then its probably not screwed up.

is there an error code in the top left corner of the screen, should be a two digit number. what is it?

Is there an error #? Also, did you check the jumpers and ide cables?
